  • The competition is open to all affiliated Junior and Senior clubs.
  • Each side must consist of 6 players (will play as two triples) plus 1 travelling sub.
  • Preliminary Round on or before 7th June 2025. First round to be played on or Before 19th July 2025.
  • There will be an entry fee of £10 per team which will be used to cover expenses incurred during finals day.
  • Game shall be played over 15 ends plus two trial ends. Three bowls per player.
  • Winning side to notify the IWBA Secretary immediately after the game and the home team to send the cards to her as soon as possible
  • Clubs with more than one side entered in the above cup shall submit members names who shall during that season play matches for the number 1 and number 2 side etc. These players shall not be interchangeable.
  • The default date and time for matches will be a Saturday morning at 10am. All games can be played before the date set, if the two teams cannot agree on a date it will be played on the original date set. No games shall be played after the date set unless under exceptional circumstances e.g. green unplayable due to weather conditions. Under any such instances, the IWBA Secretary should be notified of this.
  • In these circumstances, or when a game cannot be resumed for similar reasons, the rearranged date or resumption shall be within 10 days. The home side shall submit, within 48 hours, two alternative dates (not consecutive) one of which must be accepted. If the clubs cannot agree then this will be set by Competitions Committee.
  • In the event of two teams from the one club securing a home draw on the same green, both games can still take place.
  • A club unable to fulfil a cup match fixture must notify their opponents at least 24 hours prior to the game. The defaulting team shall forfeit the game.
  • Semi-finals and finals shall be played on a neutral green chosen by the IWBA Committee, with both semi-finals being played in the morning and the final in the afternoon on the same day.
  • The winning side shall receive, along with Cup, a plaque which they will keep.
