The NIWPGL have released the draws for all the individual competitions (see below) and they are available on the website in the Leagues, Cups and Competitions Menu (full details for each event is in the About Tab above the draw).
There are some fantastic matchups across all competitions. Will the defending champions retain their titles, or will we see new names etched onto the trophies this year?

Format of Play and Information for all Competitions
Games to be played on or before the scheduled date in the Calendar.
- Singles - 21 Shots (excluding trial ends) and 4 Bowls each player
- Pairs - 18 Ends (excluding trial ends) and 4 Bowls each player
- Triples - 18 Ends (excluding trial ends) and 3 Bowls each player
- Fours - 18 Ends (excluding trial ends) and 2 Bowls each player
- Senior Fours - 18 Ends (excluding trial ends) and 2 Bowls each player
An extra end is to be played if the scores tied after the relevant number of ends have been played.
Dress Code for Competition Matches is Club Shirt and Club colour or grey trousers.
Dress Code for the Semi-Finals and Finals Matches is White and Club Shirt

Semi Finals and Finals
The Semi Finals will be at Falls Bowling Club between Friday 7th August 2026 and Sunday 9th August 2026.
The Finals will be at Belmont Bowling Club between Thursday 13th August 2026 and Saturday 15th August 2026.

The draw for the blue-riband Senior Singles competition has not disappointed!
In what promises to be the tie of the round, reigning champion Lara Reaney faces off against friend and clubmate Chloe Wilson. Two of the game’s brightest young talents, both bring world-class ability to the green at Ewarts—this is one you won’t want to miss.
Elsewhere, several former champions are in the mix, all battling to secure their place in the quarter-finals and take another step towards reclaiming the title.

Defending champions, skipped by Lesley Mills (Belmont), face a tough test with an away trip to former champion Sandra Bailie MBE. The sides met in last year’s semi-final, where the Belmont pair edged a thrilling game 15–13. Will history repeat itself, or can the NICS pair turn the tables this time?
Elsewhere, last year’s runners-up from Ewarts, skipped by Lara Reaney, face a challenging away tie against S McCafferty (Cliftonville).
2024 champion Lisa McDonagh (Larne) begins her quest to reclaim the title with a home tie against S Stewart (NICS).

With defending champions A Weir (NICS) and last year’s runner-ups C Wilson (Ewarts) already through to the quarter-finals, attention now turns to an exciting first round.
J Massey (Saintfield) hosts an Ewarts rink skipped by Donna Meneely, while Lorna Stevenson (Saintfield) travels to Ulster Transport to take on A Spence.
At CI Knock, Karen McNeill’s rink will look to make the most of home advantage as they face a strong challenge from Linda Dickey’s Ulster Transport four.

Defending champions from NICS, skipped by Sandra Bailie MBE, receive a bye into Round 2, meaning all attention now turns to an exciting opening round.
2024 runners-up, Ann McLaughlin’s Ulster Transport rink, begin their campaign with a tough away trip to face I Colhoun (Pickie).
Meanwhile, Alicia Weir’s NICS rink will be hoping for strong run in the competition, but first must overcome a difficult away fixture against J Massey (Saintfield).
Pickie will also enjoy home advantage in another two ties, with Elizabeth Blair and F Corbett both hosting rinks from Ulster Transport and NICS respectively.

The reigning champion Celeste Martin (Comber) begins her title defence at home against V Shearer (Saintfield).
Meanwhile, last year’s runner-up Elizabeth Brown (Magheradroll) faces an away trip to take on F Matthews (Shaftesbury).
