There are several Coach Development Courses available in Belfast during Spring 2025 and the information is shown below.
ASSISTANT COACH COURSE
The £35 two day course is at the Belfast Indoor Bowls Club from 10am to 1pm on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th January 2025.
This is the first step on the coaching ladder and is designed for those wishing to help new members who are taking up the game and is not for improving your own game. You will be expected to partake in coaching at your own club following successful completion of the course.
You should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience playing competitive bowls.

Priority may be given to applicants from a club who currently do not have any qualified coaches within their membership.
COACH COURSE
The £35 two day course is at the Belfast Indoor Bowls Club on Friday 7th February 2025 from 6.30pm to 9.30pm and Saturday 8th February 2025 from 10am to 6pm.
This course is designed for existing Assistant Coaches who wish to further their knowledge and move it up a level where they can coach at a club other than their own and also undertake ‘Team Coaching’.
You should have a minimum of 2 years as a qualified Assistant Coach and can demonstrate recent coaching activity (unless in exceptional circumstances)
